Main Street Medina Announces Food, Fundraising, and Festive Events

(Medina, Ohio—August 4, 2011) Main Street Medina today announced several
new events for the fall, including a dinner and wine fundraiser, another
edition of the popular Ladies Night Out evenings, and a new holiday shopping
initiative.

“Since its inception in 2007, Main Street Medina’s focus has always been to
promote shopping the locally owned and operated businesses in Medina,
particularly those in the nine block Uptown Historic District,” stated Matt
Wiederhold, executive director of Main Street Medina. “Part of our mission
is to keep the District vibrant and relevant to the needs of the community.
One of the easiest ways to achieve that is to make things fun and fresh, and
to give people a reason to come Uptown and really get a sense of all that is
available. There are great shops here. The personal service is fantastic,
the prices are comparable or better than most big box stores, and there are
over 1,200 free parking spaces within a 3 block walk.”
