YMCA – SELREC Choir!
About us:
Under the direction of Jennifer Cochran, the YMCA-SELREC Choir will offer two yearly concerts. This year’s menu includes “A Holly Jolly Holiday” concert in early December and a yet to be determined theme concert in May. The Singers will offer music of all styles and will “sing-out” once a month in the community!
 
Who can join?
Anybody who loves to sing: ages 18 and up.  
 
History:
The original SELREC Singers, or “Mother Singers” a women’s group began over 40 years ago, offering musical performances all over the community.  Most notably the group brought their joyful music to area retirement and nursing homes. The original group divided into several area show choirs. The YMCA-SELREC Choir will keep a long-standing tradition of bringing great music to South Euclid/Lyndhurst and the surrounding communities!!
 
How do I Join?
FIRST: Come to our 1st rehearsal on:
 Monday, September 12th  6:30-8:30 p.m.  in the Greenview  Chorus Room
Rehearsals will be on Mondays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Greenview
 
THEN: Register with YMCA-SELREC for THE YMCA-SELREC Choir 
Fall/Winter Session:  $50 member & Seniors/ $65 non-member
(Winter/Spring Session: $50 member & Seniors/ $65 non-member)
 
*Performance Dates to be announced at the first rehearsal.
*Performances will be held at the SEL Board of Education Building on the corner of Mayfield and Richmond Rds.
