Auditions:
The Renaissance Theatre, 138 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, Ohio, announces
auditions for their spring 2012 production of Chicago. Auditions are open
to performers age 16 and up and will be held at the theatre Thursday,
November 17th from 6:30-9:00PM.
Seeking performers with very strong vocal, acting and dance skills. All
roles are available. Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song and
bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Callbacks
will be held Friday, November 18th from 6:30-8:30 PM. This will be a dance
call. Please come prepared to move. Auditions by appointment only! To

note: Chicago contains subject matter intended for mature audiences.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the consent
agreement on their audition form before they will be considered for casting.
About the show: Set in the 1920s, Chicago is a scathing satire of how show
business and the media make celebrities out of criminals, and features Bob
Fosse-inspired choreography, showstopping production numbers and songs such
as "All That Jazz," ''Cell Block Tango" and "Mr. Cellophane." On August
27th, 2011, it became the fourth longest running show in Broadway history -
and the longest running American musical of all time.
