[NEohioPAL] Bunnicula at TrueNorth-Auditions TONIGHT (Tuesday) for men and children and puppets

[TrueNorth Cultural Arts]

TrueNorth is still in need of several of the men and children's roles for
the Family Life Series production of *Bunnicula*. There is also an
experienced puppeteer needed for the title role. Director Carla Petrovski
will be holding auditions tonight (Tuesday) at 7:00 pm. To schedule an

*It was a dark and stormy and HILARIOUS night when the Monroe Family brings
home an adorable abandoned bunny.  But when the fruits and vegetables in the
house have their juices mysteriously drained out of them the family Cat &
Dog realize that the bunny is a Vampire!  Laughter and suspense follow in
this musical romp as the pets attempt to rescue their family from the fluffy
and fanged BUNNICULA!!!!*



Location:  TrueNorth at French Creek 4530 Colorado Avenue (Rt. 611)

Auditions by appointment only. Appointments may be made by calling
TrueNorth (440) 949-5200.  If you are unable to attend scheduled auditions,
an alternate time may be arranged.

*PLEASE PREPARE:*

**Although not required, actor's are encouraged to prepare a one-minute
humorous monologue.  Actors will also read from the script.*

**All (except puppeteer) are required to sing a segment of an upbeat song*.
*You will be singing a-cappella.*  You needn't be the best trained singer as
long as you can carry a tune and "sell" your song!  Also, you needn't be a
great dancer as long as you can move well.

*ROLES AVAILABLE*

Several of the female roles are no longer available, but all are posted
below.  The director is in search of a versatile cast. Although not a
requirement, please bring a headshot or photo with you.



HAROLD the DOG:  male, any age (adults are encouraged to audition)



CHESTER the CAT: female, any age (adults are encouraged to audition)



ROBERT MONROE ~ the father 30's - 40's

ANN MONROE    ~ the mother 30's - 40's

PETE MONROE   ~ their son :need a boy/young man able to

                emulate a 10-yr old.

TOBY MONROE   ~ their son (*may cast as daughter) need a

                boy or girl or young adult to emulate an

*BUNNICULA:      We are searching for an experienced *

*                puppeteer who is comfortable working in*
*                full view of the audience.*

*REHEARSALS*

Rehearsals will begin after Labor day in early September.  The cast will
rehearse as needed on weeknights and weekends.  All cast member are required
to attend ALL rehearsals during Tech Week.



*PERFORMANCE DATES: *

Fridays, October 7 and 14 (6:30 pm)

Saturdays, October 8, 15, 22 and 29 (3:00 pm)

Sundays, October 9, 16 (3:00 pm)

TrueNorth is located in the French Creek Nature & Art Center in Sheffield
Village, just 10 minutes West of Crocker Park and 25 minutes from downtown
