Auditions for the Mainstage Production of

Book, Music, and Lyrics by Meredith Wilson
Based on *Miracle on 34th Street*, story by Valentine Davies, screenplay by
George Seaton

Directed by John Hnat

Auditions: Tuesday Sept. 6th and Wednesday Sept. 7th from 7-10 pm each night
(30 minute time slots). Callbacks will be heldon Monday Sept 12th at 7 pm.
This is an additional round of auditions--all previous actors are still
under consideration, and all roles are still open!

Prepare: Musical theatre selection in your key (accompanist will be at
auditions). Be prepared to read from the script.

Meredith Wilson, best known for "Music Man" brings his unique style to the
classic tale that asks the questions "Is there really a Santa Claus" and
"What is True Christmas Spirit".

This production will run November 25th through December 11th, with
performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm

Doris Walker (female lead)   -  mid 30's
Fred Gaily (male lead)          -  late 30's, early 40's
Susan Walker                        - 10
Kris Kringle                          -  mid 50's to ?
Marvin Shellhammer            -  20's to 40's
R. H. Macy                           -  50's to 60's
Judge Group                          -  50's
Tammany                               - 50's to 60's
D.A. Tom Mara                     - 40's to 50's
Mr. Sawyer                            -  40's to 50's

The chorus has plenty of great roles including poker buddies, secretaries,
clerks, shoppers, etc. There are also 2 major dance scenes (the Macy's
Thanksgiving Parade and the Toy Ballet/Susan's Birthday Party). There are
also additional roles for several children.

TrueNorth is located in the French Creek Nature & Art Center in Sheffield
Village, just 10 minutes West of Crocker Park and 25 minutes from downtown
