[NEohioPAL] BW Adult Piano Lab Classes for the Fall

Classes for Group Adult Piano will begin next Wednesday, September 14! Don’t miss out on your chance to register for fall sessions.
Whether you’re continuing on, or looking to start up again, there are classes for you. For the fall we are offering two Adult classes, with twelve sessions each:
I Want to Play the Piano (Level I)
Adult Group Class for beginners

Adults CAN learn to play the piano - even those who've never learned to read music before. Studies have shown that adults who actively engage in learning new things enjoy good memory health, and the more complex the activity, the better for your brain! Here's a way to have fun, learn something new, give yourself enjoyment for years to come, and it's good for you, too. Learn the important fundamentals of piano playing in a supportive environment with other adults.

Time: Wednesdays, 7:00pm-7:45pm

Dates:
September: 14, 21, 28
October: 5, 12, 19, 26
November: 2, 9, 16, 30
December: 7 

Location: Classes will be held in the new Piano Lab, room 321 located in the Kulas Musical Arts Building on 96 Front Street, Berea, OH 

Cost: $144 for 12 classes, plus $20 for lesson books and $15 registration fee for new students


Adult Piano Lab (Level II)
Prerequisite: Piano Lab level I or previous private lessons
Intermediate Adult Group Class
Alice Frawley, Instructor

Adults can learn in a group setting, piano skills, music theory, and performance technique. It is a relaxed learning environment among supportive adults from various professional and career backgrounds. Studies have shown that adults who actively engage in learning new things enjoy good memory health, and the more complex the activity, the better for your brain! All students should have access to a piano for practice outside of class; daily practice ensures advancement in keyboard proficiency. Pencils are necessary at each class.

Time: Wednesdays, 7:45pm-8:30pm
