UNDERSTUDIES NEEDED:

JERUSHA - Can be alto or soprano. Low g to high f.  Petite.  Charming,
plucky, and smart orphan girl.  Age 18 at beginning of show-  age 23 at the
end.  Must be non-AEA.

JERVIS - Baritone. Low a to high g.  Must be at least 6 feet tall.  Proper,
a little set in his ways, handsome, and wealthy.  In his mid-thirties.  Must
be non-AEA.

 

 

 

UNDERSTUDIES MUST HAVE SOLID VOCAL TRAINING AND MUSICAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE.

 

THE UNDERSTUDIES ARE PAID POSITIONS.

 

UNDERSTUDIES ARE REQUIRED TO OBSERVE SOME PREVIEW PERFORMANCES (OCTOBER 21st
-25th) AND WILL HAVE A REHEARSAL WITH THE STAGE MANAGER AFTER OPENING.
Daddy Long Legs runs through November 13th.

audition you will be asked to sing one song from the show and you will be
given sides to prepare.

 

 

Play Synopsis:

When an anonymous patron agrees to pay a beautiful orphan's college tuition,
her young life changes overnight. All that the benefactor-nicknamed Daddy
Long Legs-requests in return is a monthly letter. From one of the Tony
Award-winning directors of Les Miserables comes a charming love story that
combines enthralling music, witty dialogue, and a wonderfully intimate and
compelling relationship.
