Have you ever encountered a show that made you gasp in horror, laugh so hard you cry, and shutter in utter heart wrenching sadness... all within moments of each other? This is how you will feel watching, reading, or participating in this amazing piece of American Theatre. 


August: Osage County, written by Tracy Letts, has won many awards including the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It is a dark comedy, and all parts present a rewarding challenge for all actors/actresses involved. 


North Canton Playhouse is holding auditions for August: Osage County. Rehearals will be held twice a week through January, then will pick up to 3-4 times a week depending on cast availability and need. 


Audition date – Thursday, October 13, 2011
7:00 PM
McManaway Studio at Main Stage, Located inside of Hoover High School
525 7th Street NE, North Canton Ohio 44720

AVAILABLE ROLES: 

7 females, 5 males, and an approximately 14 year old girl
Audition will consist of cold readings from the script.

SHOW DATES: February 17  – March 4, 2012.
