[NEohioPAL] Actors needed for unique reading of award-winning screenplay

On Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 7PM, Independent Pictures will present SCRIPT MILL: An un-staged reading of the award-winning screenplay, "Halfway Home". The reading will be professionally cast and directed by area filmmakers Craig Knowles and Paul Cusato. It will take place in the gallery at Arts Collinwood, 397 East 156th Street Cleveland, OH 44110. Admission is free.The directors are seeking to cast the following roles:NARRATORA key performer. Will read all descriptions, scene headings and general script directions. Requires excellent reading voice.GABRIEL20's, male. Main character. Paraplegic.BRIGHTWELL38, male. Responsible for the Halfway House.BILL35, male. Mentally-handicapped inhabitant of the Halfway House.BOBBY30, male. Mentally-handicapped inhabitant of the Halfway House.TOMMY25, male. Mentally-handicapped inhabitant of the Halfway House.ANNE35, female. Cook at the Halfway House.MORGAN17, female. Love interest of Gabriel.DUKE60's, male. Donut shop owner and bookie on the side.BOOGER BENSON17, male. Friend of Gabriel.BUD HIGGINS42, male. Unsavory upstairs neighbor.OLD BLACK MAN80s, male. Teaches Gabriel a few things about life.VARIOUS MIXED ROLESNeed additional actors to play various supporting roles and cast members.
