The Market Path

												Presents...
Heads Up Productions’ Karma Cafe

The Market Path in the Highland Square neighborhood of Akron is
hosting Heads Up Productions’ Karma Café.

Karma Café is being performed as part of Market Path’s 4th
anniversary celebration on Saturday, November 12. The café is open
from 11:30-1:30, but Market Path has offerings throughout the day
including: a drum circle, giveaways and unbeatable sale prices.

Karma Café is a cabaret-style café where guests order from a selection
of delectable performances. Guests are seated by Heads Up’s maître d’
and given a menu consisting entirely of performance options. Once an
order is placed, our actor-waiters are brought out to create private,
tableside performances to be enjoyed by the guests.

Menu items range from songs and poetry to stories and scenes. The
daily special is slated to be local, organic fare written and
performed by Akron natives.

Performances are free, but tipping is highly encouraged.

The Ensemble:

Brian O. Jackson from Akron, Ohio

TJ Jozsa from Stow, Ohio

Alyssa Porter from Lakewood, Ohio

A social justice project of First Grace United Church of Christ, The
Market Path provides you the opportunity to shop from artisans in
Africa and Asia, as well as South, Central, and North America. When
you shop with us, you provide invaluable support to impoverished
workers who make beautiful handmade items out of recycled and
sustainable materials without any factory or corporate involvement. We
celebrate in bringing you retail options with compassion, humanity and
integrity.
