TheIllusion Factory, Akron’s professional theatre for young audiences, is excitedto announce the start-up of Winter Acting Classes, held on Saturdays at theNorthwest Center January 7-March 10 and the Akron Art Museum January 28,February 11 and 25, and March 10.Enrollyour children today to allow them to explore their imagination, to foster theircreativity and help build their self-esteem.

Eachcourse follows Ohio’s Academic Content Standards and taught by professionalactors from The Illusion Factory with teaching experience. Pre-registration is required so enroll in thefollowing classes today by calling The Illusion Factory office at (330)836-1353!

Thefollowing classes will be offered at The Northwest Center:
Tot Time Theater Ages2-4. 930-10 AM.Parents experience the magicof theater with your toddler!
Scenework And AuditionsAges 8 & up.10-11 AM. Perform scenes and learn how toselect, prepare for, and deliver monologues for an audition. 
Storybook Theatre Ages5-7.10-11 AM. Expand your imaginationand learn basic acting skills while acting out familiar children stories.
Happy Feet!Ages 5 & up.11-12 Noon AM. Enjoy expressing yourself through creativemovement and dance.
Act I: Theater GamesAges 8-12.11-12 Noon. This is a fun way to learn about theater, acting, and creatingstories.
Thefollowing classes will be offered at the Akron Art Museum:
Storybook Adventures Ages5-7.12:30-1:30 PM.Develop your imagination and learn basicacting skills while bringing a favorite storybook to life.
Theatre Arts Experience Ages 8& up.1:30-2:30 PM.Explore the world of theatre and learn basicacting skills through making props, storytelling, and theatre games.
