Hello once again theatre family!!

   I've got a few announcements!!!!  We are back and in FULL SWING here at NCP!

  

          

  

            OPENING:  Friday January 13th  

  
      "GYPSY" a youth production;  directed by  Brenton Cochran


         

GYPSY is the ultimate story about an aggressive stage mother. Join Rose, June and Louise
	in their trip across the United States during the 1920's, when vaudeville was dying and
	burlesque was born. Jule Styne's music and Stephen Sondheim's lyrics include
	Let Me Entertain You, Some People, You'll Never Get Away from Me, If Momma Was Married,
	All I Need Is the Girl, Everything's Coming Up Roses, You Gotta Get A Gimmick and
	Together Wherever We Go. This is a gripping story of one of the most frightening
	aspects of show business.

  AUDITIONS:
         

         " Into The  Woods"

                 Sunday January 15th at 7:30pm at the 

                        North Canton Playhouse  Main stage.

    

     Ages 14 - 21 years old. cast consists of 7 men and 14 women.

                 (There is no ensemble for this production)

     Please prepare 16 bars to sing A Capella. 

    There will be a cold read from the script.

 Rehearsals will be on Saturdays in Jan. & Feb.  Then 3 days a week in March, April and May. Performances open May 17th.

               "SPRING AWAKENING"

    


The landmark musical "SPRING AWAKENING" is an electrifying 
fusion of morality, sexuality and rock & roll that explores the journey from 
adolescence to adulthood with poignancy and passion you will never forget.
