Weathervane 8x10 Theatrefest 



Weathervane Playhouse is accepting original 10 minute plays for their 2012 TheatreFest to be held on the weekend of  July 13-15, 2012.   Plays must be unproduced and unpublished - workshops and readings excepted.   8 finalist plays will be chosen by a panel of volunteer judges and will be presented (3  performances) during the Festival.   Each finalist playwright will also receive a minimum cash prize of $50.   Other awards, as determined by Guest Judges, include: $350 for First Place and $250 for Second.   The Audience Favorite will receive $150.  



There is an administrative fee of $10.   Playwrights may submit a maximum of 2 plays for this fee.   Deadline for entries is 5pm May 16, 2012 or upon receipt of 300 entries, whichever occurs first.
