RED COMPANY REAL.EDGE.DANCE, AKRON'S NEW PROFESSIONAL MODERN DANCE COMPANY WILL OFFER WEEKLY OPEN MODERN DANCE TECHNIQUE CLASSES ON TUESDAY EVENINGS TO THE PUBLIC.

 

RED Company real.edge.dance is a new professional modern dance company in the Akron area under Artistic Director, Kelli Sanford. The company offers a style of dance that is eclectic and dynamically charge with thought-provoking and entertaining dance art. RED serves the community by offering collaborative opportunities to professional dance and music artists and also offers educational opportunities to the young dancers of the Akron area with RED's Apprentice Training Program. Lastly, RED has a mission to conduct Outreach Performances to local area nursing homes to reach out to the senior citizen community and is currently schedule to perform at three nursing homes in February and March. RED is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. 

 

 Due to the success and interest of the December and early January classes, RED will continue offering weekly Tuesday evenings of Open Modern Technique Classes to the public January-March. The classes will be based on Int.-Adv. Modern Dance Technique for individuals from teen to adult, and are $10.00 per class (Cash only).

 

Time: Tuesdays 7:35-8:45pm

 

Location: Spotlight School of the Arts 1065 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio (approx. 1.5 miles West of Summit County Border on RT. 18 W, in the Akron-Medina Complex just before RT. 94)
