OHIO NORTHERN UNIVERSITY SINGERS CONCERT:

*is a select 48-voice concert choir under the direction of Dr. Ben Ayling,
Director of Choral Activities at Ohio Northern University. Dedicated to
musical excellence, the choir performs a variety of literature representing
the rich history of choral music as it performs concert tours annually.



Touring annually, the University Singers has performed overseas nine times
and have appeared in England, Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway,
Switzerland, Wales, and Estonia. The choir will be carrying out its tenth
overseas concert tour while performing across the North Island of New
Zealand in March of 2012. Domestically, they have appeared on both coasts
and all throughout the eastern seaboard as far south as Louisiana and
Florida and to our northern neighbor, Canada.

Their program will include music by Palestrina and Schutz as well as featuring
top-notch repertoire including Lauridsen's stunning "O Nata Lux", Moses
Hogan's energetic setting of "The Battle of Jericho".  A barbershop quartet
from the choir will also perform.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. and a free-will offering will be accepted.
