Context:

Greenhouse Studios is a young dynamic privately owned production company located in Burbank. The firm aims at assisting both independent and high-end clients throughout the completion of their projects by providing high quality production and post-production services. The wide range of projects Greenhouse Studios is involved in includes feature films, TV series, documentaries and short form content.

 

The company is currently shooting Fatherhood 101, a feature documentary directed by Marquette Williams and produced by Peter Lawson Jones and Dennis Knowles. The film examines the vital role fathers play in nurturing and raising children and the negative impact that “father absence” has on families. The documentary will include:

§ Testimonials from celebrity and everyday dads;

§ Expert subject matter testimonials; and

§ Case studies on fatherhood programming offered by the Cuyahoga County Fatherhood Initiative and the Center for Families and Children.

 

Greenhouse Studios needs unpaid interns available 5 weeks between February and May 2012 to support its production team in Cleveland. More specifically, the company is looking for:

§ 1 Digital Imaging Technician/Assistant Editor intern; and

§ 3 Production Assistants.

 

Requirements:

Interns must:

§ Be currently enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate film program;

§ Possess a laptop, preferably a mac;

§ Have a minimum GPA of 3.0;

§ For the DIT/Assistant Editor position, be proficient in mac operating system and organizing files; and

§ For the PA position, have a car (key grip experience is a plus).
