/The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs/ is an entertaining mixture of
personal storytelling, investigative journalism, and moral activism.
Actor / author / commentator / playwright Mike Daisey uses his
razor-sharp wit to examine the 'cult of Mac' to which he belongs, to
give insight into the rise of Apple around the iconic Steve Jobs, and to
reveal the working conditions at Apple's Chinese supply factory, Foxconn.

The authorhas performed the piece before thousands worldwide, and gained
national media attention following an appearance on Chicago Public
Radio's /This American Life/ on January 6, 2012 (which became the show's
most downloaded episode ever). The following week, Apple announced that
they would be making changes to their production policies, which many
attributed to pressure generated by this monologue, and to a workers'
strike at Foxconn that occured in the same week as the radio airing.

On February 21, 2011, Mr. Daisey released a transcript of /The Agony and
the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs/ based on his extemporaneous performances of
the piece for open public for use. It is believed that CVLT's staged
reading by Andrew Rothman, also a life-long Apple enthusiast, writer and
comedic actor, will be the first theatrical production of the transcript
anywhere in the world.

Directed and Choreographed by Marc C. Howard Musical Direction by Anney
Jeandrevin

/The Drowsy Chaperone/ is the Tony Award winning homage to American
musicals of the Jazz Age, examining the effect musicals have on the fans
who adore them.

A modern day musical theater addict known simply as "Man in Chair",
seeking to chase his blues away, drops the needle on his favorite LP --
the fictional 1928 musical comedy "The Drowsy Chaperone".

From the crackle of his hi-fi, the musical magically bursts to life
on-stage telling the tale of a pampered Broadway starlet who wants to
give up show business to get married, her producer who sets out to
sabotage the nuptials, her chaperone, the debonair groom, the dizzy
chorine, the Latin lover and a pair of gangsters who double as pastry
chefs. Man in Chair's love of "The Drowsy Chaperone" speaks to anyone
who has ever been transported by the theater.

Starring: Alexandria Marzullo, Brenda Willis, Clayton Minder, Don
Bernardo, Eric Oswald, Jerry Schaber, John Hickman, Laurel Bryant, Libby
Merriman, Lisa Tarr, Mark Moore, Mark Snyder, Michael Rogan, Ryan
Bernstein, Suzanne Davis, Tina Burgett-Krause and Tom Boehringer.
