The Musical

All auditions and most rehearsals will be held in Sandefur Theatre within

Guzzetta Hall on the campus of The University of Akron. Performances will

be held at the Akron Civic Theatre in Downtown Akron.

speaking parts for at least 10 males and at least 10 females

as well as a complete chorus of singers and dancers

All auditioners must be aged 14 - 18 and currently in grade 9 through 12.

Auditions are open only to current students of public and private high
schools

as well as to age-appropriate home-schoolers within the City of Akron.

Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling 330-535-3179
from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. weekdays.

All performers should prepare a Broadway-style song of at least 12 bars but
not more than 16. A movement audition will be held as

part of call-backs. Each auditioner should be prepared to complete a list of
all potential schedule conflicts.
