INTERPLAY JEWISH THEATRE presents a FREE staged reading of HOUSE, DIVIDED
- a searing new drama by Philadelphia playwright LARRY LOEBELL - on SUNDAY,
MARCH 25TH, 7:00 p.m. at DOBAMA THEATRE. 2340 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights.

Fred Sternfeld directs the cast of seven: Charles Kartali*, Noah Budin,
Luke Wehner, Luke Brett, Dan Folino*, Eric Thomas Fancher, and Jacqi Loewy*
- reason enough to attend.

The synopsis: The Goldstein family of Philadelphia was upended when
older brother Louis decided to embrace Jewish Orthodoxy and move to Israel
during the height of the Vietnam War. Betrayed and bewildered, Louis'
younger brother Douglas built his life as an advocate for peace. More than
two decades later, Louis is a retired Israeli Army officer and Doug is a
senior director with Amnesty International. Divided by deep familial wounds
and opposing religious and political beliefs, the brothers are forced to
re-engage when their respective sons make surprising life decisions of
their own. HOUSE, DIVIDED is a timely and challenging exploration of
faith, family and politics - and our collective failure to consider other
points of view.

LARRY LOEBELL will be present at the reading and will conduct a talkback
immediately following the performance. He wrote HOUSE, DIVIDED with help
from the National Foundation for Jewish Culture. The play's premiere
production was nominated for a Barrymore Best New Play award in
Philadelphia.

As always, Interplay's readings are free. But DONATIONS keep us going.
All monies collected on March 25th will fund the next reading. Reservations
are requested through interplayjewishtheatre at gmail.com.
