*Hiring Dance Instructor

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Two years minimum (full or part-time) of recent and successful        
experience in  teaching dance 

•  Ambitious and energetic attitude
- Team players who can blend into any social dynamic                                             
- Physically fit and well groomed
 
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to those candidates demonstrating a high level of professional expertise on the basis of:
• Experience with lecture classes such as Dance History or Choreography.
• Knowledge of and ability to integrate instructional technology in
Curriculum.
• Recent experience in choreographing for and directing dance
productions in a theatre venue.
• Recent experience as a Dance Instructor in two of the following
Techniques – Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary dance forms.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruct Dance Choreography, and dance technique classes.
 Assist, coordinate or direct dance concerts. Assignment may include day,
evening and weekend hours. Participate in general faculty functions
related to the educational program and in-service programs.
