Auditions for J. Powers, J. Quinn & A. Jans's  Do Black Patent Leather
Shoes Really Reflect Up will be held
Saturday April 14, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

&
Sunday April 15, 2012 from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.


Those auditioning should prepare a ballad and an up-beat style song
reflective of 50's music.  Dress comfortably to be able to perform dance
steps with the choreographer.

Director Dave Stacko will cast five males and eight females:

Males:

*  Father O'Reilly, 50's -60’s, head of the parish and principal



The Boys of St. Bastion - late teens to early 20's (high school looking)

*  Eddie Ryan, male lead, the nice guy, has feelings for Becky

*  Louie Schlang, an air of confidence and coolness but sometimes slips
into nerdsville

*  Mike Depki, one of the regular guys from the neighborhood

*  Felix Lindor, somewhat more self-conscious  than the others but still
cool



Females:

 The Nuns of St. Bastion - Typical nuns of a 1950's Parochial school , late
40’s-late 50's:

*   Sister Melanie

*   Sister Lee

*   Sister Helen

*   Sister Monica Marie
 The Girls of St. Bastion, late teens to early 20's (high school looking)
 *  Becky Bakowski, female lead, somewhat shy naive and a somewhat
self-conscious of her weight

*   Virginia Lear, a mean young girl and a pretentious older one

 *  Nancy Relansky, somewhat more "knowledgeable" than the others "age wise"

*   Mary Kenny - she's an instigator, on the snobby side, but still
confident.
