DOBAMA THEATRE ANNOUNCES


AUDITIONS


 

We are casting a small ensemble of actors (ages 10+) to perform in the 

2012 Dobama Young Playwrights Program productions: 

 

The 34th Annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids' Playwriting Festival and

The inaugural Dobama Young Playwrights Competition

 

Monday, April 30th

8:00 - 10:30 pm 

 

Additional time for kids 18 and under: 

Saturday, May 5th

10 am - noon

 

No sign up necessary

 

Actors will perform multiple roles in a number of short plays written by
winning student playwrights. Adult actors will receive a stipend.

Rehearsals begin May 5th. 

 

IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED A PLAY TO THE FESTIVAL - WINNERS HAVE NOT YET BEEN
ANNOUNCED

 

 

AUDITION PLACE: 

Dobama Theatre, 2340 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights

Auditions will be held downstairs in the theatre. Parking is available
behind building and across the street.

 

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Prepare a one-minute monologue, OR you may read a side provided from the
script

Please bring picture and resume if you have one and a list of your conflicts
