Gregg Russell:

Gregg is an Emmy nominated choreographer and has worked with such stars as Bette Midler, Gene Kelly, The Nicholas Brothers, Michael Jackson, Gregory Hines and Kenny Ortega. He directed a commercial for Carvel Ice Cream and has also performed with numerous music artists: Reba McEntire, Smash Mouth, The B-52‘s and Jason Mraz Gregg’s latest projects include dancing in a Volkswagon national commercial, training “Dancing with the Stars” star Derek Hough for an upcoming feature film, performing in the Jerry Lewis Telethon and Dance Halloween charity event with Jamie Lee Curtis, and choreographing and dancing on the new TV show “Mobbed”.  He also just completed competing and making it to the semi-finals on the CBS TV show “Live to Dance” on CBS hosted by Paula Abdul as Tap Sounds Underground.  He currently is traveling and working on Co. Dance conventions and is hosting and producing “Tap Into the Network” intensives, traveling to 7 different cities throughout the world in the summer of 2012.  Future endeavors include choreographing and performing for various tap companies and festivals throughout the country, acting in an independent film, starting late fall/early winter and producing a live stage show opening in Los Angeles in 2013!


Angela Carter:

Angela Carter has performed and choreographed for opening acts for Mary J. Blige. She can be seen in music videos for Brittany Murphy. Her rhythmic style shined on the WB Junior Achievement Awards television show, and the stage productions of Dancers Unite 1,2 and 3.  Her versatile energy can be seen on the independent short film M-O-V-I-E, shown at the Sundance Film Festival. Angela has choreographed and performed for the Miss Kansas Pageant, Choreographers Carnival, LA Tap Festival, Motor City Tap Festival and Tri-Tappin’ Festival.  Angela has also worked on Disney’s film Princess and the Frog. She has worked with Tyce Diorio and performed for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Angela most recently performed with Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo on FOX’s Mobbed!  Check out her first instructional tap DVD Tap’d Out! She has also worked as an award winning tap director at Dance Connection Performing Arts Center in Concord, CA.



Angela travels throughout the country choreographing and teaching master classes, judging and directing dance competitions. She works for various conventions, studios and organizations (VIP Dance, Dance Olympus, Dance America, CoDance, Dance Masters of America, etc.). She is featured in the live shows, 7 Days Underground and Elemental Sound and can be seen in commercials for Carvel Ice Cream. Angela is a Regional Director for VIP Dance. She is also a co-director of Tap Into the Network.



Ryan Lohoff:
Ryan has been teaching and choreographing since the age of 14 and now travels the US and abroad spreading his knowledge and love for dance. He has choreographed and performed pieces for Gregg Russellʼs tap company “Tap Sounds Underground,” the Miss Kansas Pageant, the Tampa Bay Tap Festival, the 2010 Jerry Lewis Telethon opening number with Tyce Diorio, and has choreographed award-winning routines at dance studios across the US and abroad.
Recently, Ryan was a featured tapper for an upcoming episode of FOX’s “Mobbed” with Howie Mandell. You may have also recently seen Ryan dancing with partner Gregg Russell as one of the top 18 dance acts on Paula Abdul's television show "Live To Dance". Ryan’s been featured on CBS’s “Star Search” with Arsenio Hall, on FOXʼs “30 Seconds to Fame,” and a commercial for Carvel Ice Cream. He has worked with Broadway Choreographer Keith Young on the Sammy Davis Jr. musical “Sammy” and has recorded his tap sounds for the Disney film “The Princess and the Frog” as well as the demo tape for the remake of the movie “Fame.” He has appeared in numerous shows including industrials for both Adidas and Nike, performed at Broadway Dance Center in New York, the Buddy Epson Tribute in Los Angeles and was the Nutcracker Prince in the San Francisco Balletʼs Nutcracker.



Ryanʼs true passion is in teaching and choreographing. He has taught on numerous conventions and tap festivals and has traveled internationally to inspire tappers worldwide. He is currently the founder of Neo Rythmo, Inc., a tap manufacturing company that has produced the FIRST and ONLY professional black colored taps on the market, aka ProTones (www.NeoRythmo.com). In January of 2012, Neo Rythmo released the NEWEST tap accessory to hit the stage, Melodies: Multi-colored taps for performance and competition. Although known for his tap, Ryan excels in all forms of dance. Using his versatility, he infuses and creates a unique and up to date style that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
