The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival's 15th Season Opens at Notre Dame College

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival celebrates its 15th season of providing free, outdoor performances of the works of William Shakespeare to audiences in Northeast Ohio. "As You Like It," directed by Dana Hart, opens Friday, June 22 and June 23 at 7:00 pm on the Quad at Notre Dame College in South Euclid.  Both shows continue in repertory on June 30 at The James A. Garfield National Historic Site in Mentor.

"As You Like It", often referred to as 'Shakespeare's Musical', offers up the perfect dessert for a summer evening! Dana Hart's adaptation is packed full of comparisons and contrasts between men and women, city folk and country, the festive and the forlorn, all topped off with - yes folks - singing and dancing! This delightful romp built around the crazy notion of love at first sight (times four) features some of the Bard's most beloved monologues. It's sure to keep everyone grinning and giggling from start to famous epilogue. Bring someone you love!
