*CHERUB CHOIR DIRECTOR*

Church of the Saviour (United Methodist) has an opening for a Cherub Choir
Director to develop a high-quality, inviting music ministry for children in
grades K-1 as part of a graded choir program. The ideal candidate will be
experienced in working with young children, able to read music, and
knowledgeable of children’s vocal pedagogy. This individual will also have
the ability to provide an appropriate vocal model for young singers
including leading singing with pitch accuracy.

The Cherub Choir rehearses on Thursdays 6:30-7:15 p.m. from September
through May and sings in church 4-5 times a year primarily on Sunday
mornings including Easter (combined choirs) as well as Christmas Eve.

This is a nine-month position, September through May, approximately 3 hours
a week. Stipend available.
