Glenn was a wonderful actor, but more so, he was a truly wonderful person.   I had known him for over 20 years, and in that time grew to admire his calm intelligence, his playful sense of humor and his involvement in the dramatic arts.  Never an unkind word was ever heard from Glenn in my many  encounters with him on  local and Florida golf courses.  We shared so many good times and he will be sorely missed.      A man who was easy to love.     Bob Bergantino

Glenn Colerider, the veteran Cleveland character actor, who lent his presence to many local theatres, has died.  Known for credible performances that left an indelible impression, Mr. Colerider began his career in radio and later advertising.  He shared a love of acting with wife Jean and they frequently appeared in regional productions together.  In recent years he was closely associated with Cesear’s Forum, Actors’ Summit, Dobama Theatre, Ensemble Theatre but credits include Cleveland Play House, Porthouse Theatre, Cain Park and The Black River Theatre Company/Oberlin College. Links to his obituary and last radio interview with Dee Perry on Around Noon follow.
