Southern Fried Chicks
Featuring Etta May, Sonya White and Karen Mills
Thursday, September 13, 2012 - 7:30 p.m.

The Southern Fried Chicks comedy tour stars Etta May and two special
guests from the "Chick's Hen House": Sonya White and Karen Mills. Etta
May has been described as "Minnie Pearl with a migraine." Winner of the
prestigious American Comedy Awards Stand-up Comic of the Year, she has
appeared on "Oprah," "CMT," "Comic Strip Live," plus many others. She is
an audience favorite of XM and Sirius radio comedy channels and on
syndicated radio shows, "The Bob and Tom Show" and "The Rick and Bubba
Show." Sonya White, originally from Virginia, combines her Southern
charm with big city smarts to create an act that is clean, fun and high
energy. Her observational comedy is enhanced by dead-on impersonations
and sound effects ranging from favorite celebrities to pets she wished
she could keep in her Chicago apartment. Sonya has been a featured
comedian on CBS's "Star Search" and NBC's "Last Comic Standing." Karen
Mills is a native Tennessean and makes one thing clear through her clean
and clever comedy: "I am not a Southern Belle, unless I need to be." She
is a veteran comedian who has worked with Jon Stewart and was a
contributing writer for "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." Since the debut of
their one-hour comedy special on CMT, the Southern Fried Chicks have
played to venues packed with people and laughter. Life and love in the
USA has never been funnier than when the original "desperate housewives"
give their points of view. Think Blue Collar Comedy Tour with better
hair and bigger attitude! www.southernfriedchicks.net

The Cab Jivers of the Cab Calloway Orchestra
Conducted by Calloway Brooks
with Special Guest Alice Tan Ridley
Sunday, October 7, 2012 - 7:30 p.m.

The Cab Jivers of the Cab Calloway Orchestra are a smaller group drawn
from the larger Cab Calloway Orchestra. They have delighted audiences at
venues across the country under the baton of Cab's grandson, Calloway
Brooks. His grandfather dazzled audiences dating back to the 20's with
his unique style, sound and visual performance, which set him and his
Orchestra apart from other big bands. Brooks keeps alive the family
tradition, performing in the style of his grandfather. He strives to
create the unique sound that millions enjoyed on the radio and in
concert. From many million selling hits like "Minnie the Moocher," the
orchestra brings the audience into the show. The Cab Jivers deliver both
the authentic sound of a hot jazz orchestra and a snazzy stage
style-bringing out a jump, blues and boogie experience of swing that is
king and jive that's alive and well today. They will be accompanying
Alice Tan Ridley - a finalist on "America's Got Talent" in 2010 and
winner of the New York Music Award for Best Performance in 2011. After
moving to New York in 1971, raising her family (she is the mother of
Oscar nominated actress, Gabourey Sidibe, Precious), she resumed her
singing career in 1992. She's been dubbed "The Subway Idol" for her
legendary subway performances that have stopped people in their traces
and resulted in a flurry of YouTube videos, now reaching over 3 million
hits. Alice Tan Ridley performing live with The Cab Jivers will offer
you a special and memorable event that will leave you smiling and
humming long after the show ends.

"Ricky Nelson Remembered"
Starring Matthew and Gunnar Nelson
Thursday, November 8, 2012 - 7:30 p.m.

More than 25 years ago, Ricky Nelson died in a plane crash. Through his
sons, Nelson's legacy lives on. Ricky Nelson was America's first TV
heartthrob. The Nelson family achieved immortality with "The Adventures
of Ozzie & Harriet," the longest-running sitcom in television history.
Earlier, Ozzie and Harriet had enjoyed big band success and had scored a
#1 hit in 1934. Ricky emerged from the series and established himself as
one of the most important rock artists of the 50s, 60s and 70s. A Rock
and Roll Hall of Famer, Nelson is the only artist in history to have a
#1 TV show, #1 movie, and #1 song all in the same week. Matthew and
Gunnar Nelson, Ricky's twin sons, are triple-platinum recording artists
in their own right. "After the Rain" was the hit debut album by
"Nelson," the band Matthew and Gunnar led in the early 1990s. They
zoomed to #1 with "(I Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection,"
which landed the Nelson family in the Guinness Book of World Records as
the only family to reach #1 record status in three successive
generations. "Ricky Nelson Remembered" is a multi-media concert
experience which includes all of Ricky Nelson's biggest hits.

David Syme was recommended by some of Stocker's long-time subscribers

the Stocker lineup. Syme is an American pianist living in Ireland who
has emerged in recent years as a pre-eminent and definitive interpreter
of the works of Gershwin for piano and orchestra. Syme has appeared at

"Fiddler on the Roof"
Monday, April 8, 2013 - 7:30pm

"Fiddler on the Roof," based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, has
captured the hearts of people all over the world with its humor, warmth
and honesty. In the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor milkman is
trying to keep his family's traditions in place. Yet, times are
changing. And when Tevye's daughters want to make their own matches, he
must choose between his own daughters' happiness and the beloved
traditions that keep the outside world at bay. Yet it is Tevye's love of
his family, pride and faith that help him face the dangerous forces in
Anatevka which threaten to destroy the very life he and his fellow
villagers are trying to preserve. "Fiddler on the Roof" is filled with a
rousing, heartwarming score, including "Tradition," "Matchmaker,
Matchmaker," "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Sunrise, Sunset." "Filled with
laughter and tenderness, it catches the essence of a moment in history
with sentiment and radiance." -The New York Times
