[NEohioPAL] Players Guild Theatre Seeks Stage Directors for Mainstage Musicals

The Players Guild Theatre of Canton, Ohio, is seeking directors for two of
its mainstage musical productions this year.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL: The New Musical
Audition Dates: October 8-10, 2012
Rehearsal Dates: October 21 - November 29, 2012
Performance Dates: November 30 - December 16, 2012

ALL SHOOK UP
Audition Dates: January 7-9, 20123
Rehearsal Dates: January 20-February 28, 2013
Performance Dates: March 1-17, 2013

The Players Guild is seeking experienced Stage Directors to collaborate
with our Musical Director and Choreographer to cast, stage, rehearse and
mount productions that will meet the high standard of excellence expected
by Guild audiences.  The Stage Director will work alongside the Producing
Artistic Director to assure the production follows the schedule designed
for Guild shows, but will have creative authority over rehearsals and the
conceptual design process*. Candidates should possess practical experience
directing multi-set musicals with large casts.  Interested parties should
send a cover letter and resume, along with any samples you have of your
process or product on a production (director's notebook, photos, blocking
notes, video - anything that will demonstrate how you work). Positions are
well compensated. All materials are due no later than 5 PM on Friday,

* A CHRISTMAS CAROL: The New Musical is an annual production utilizing a
established scenic and costume design.  Few changes to either the set or
costume plot will be considered.
