NEXT FALL

Run Dates: January 10 – 26, 2013

In the John L. Dietz Theater of Weathervane Playhouse

Rehearsals will begin November 25, 2012

 

Auditions:

September 9 & 10, 2012

Auditions BY APPOINTMENT starting at 6 p.m.

Appointments every 5 minutes

 

Prepare:

A serio-comic monologue not to exceed TWO Minutes

Some people may be asked to stay and read from the script, so please plan accordingly

 

Character Breakdown:

Adam, 30s – 40s, a substitute teacher

Luke, 20s – 30s, an aspiring actor

Holly, 20s – 30s, a candle shop owner

Brandon, 20s – 30s, a property developer

Arlene, 50s a divorcee

Butch, 50s, a businessman

 

 

Director:

Jerimie Newcomb is a recent graduate from Kent State University with a B.A. degree in Theatre Studies (Directing). He most recently completed his second season at Porthouse Theatre serving as the Assistant Director for Damn Yankees and The Sound of Music, as well as one of the season’s Assistant Company Managers. He has worked at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as a Directing Fellow for their MFA Playwriting Workshop. Jerimie has also served as Student Festival Coordinator for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival: Region 3 for the past two years. Directing credits include David and Lisa, Furies, Land of the Dead, Rabbit Hole, Mr. Marmalade, Love at Twenty, Coax and Helter Skelter.  Assistant Directing credits include Tons of Money, Crazy for You and A Chorus Line. Jerimie also served as Consulting Stage Manager for Kent State University at Stark Theatre’s productions of Dating is Tough To Do... andSongs for a New World.
