(Berkshires, MA) Aug13, 2012 – Criticallyacclaimed Moscow Ballet and En Pointe Danse announce casting call to perform in the 20thAnniversary production of Moscow Ballet’s GreatRussian Nutcracker at Masonic Auditorium in Cleveland. Children’s roles are at all levels of ballet andinclude Party Children, Mice, Angels, Butterflies, Snowflakes and more. Dancestudents from area dance studios are invited to auditionFriday, September 14 6:00pm at 516 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls, OH. Applicantsmust be 7 to 16 years old, have one year ofballet training, dress in dance attire and may bring Pointe shoes.  Moscow Ballet soloist and Audition Director NataliaMiroshnyk is in town especially to conduct the auditions. She looks for dancerswith ballet training, poise and who are able to work in a group. She will alsowork one-on-one with students in rehearsal after the auditions. The liveperformance experience is a once-in-lifetime chance for most aspiring dancers. En Pointe Danse’ goal is toprovide a nurturing environment for beginner through adult dancers, inspiringthe joy and passion of dance by fostering creative expression. The studio offers a variety of dance forms to aid in exploringthe wonders of dance including creative movement, ballet, pointe, tap, andmodern dance. Classesare offered for students age 3 through adult. The focus of the studio is ontechnique and fostering discipline and critical thinking in the dancers. Thisis the studio’s third year hosting Moscow Ballet auditions for the Great Russian Nutcracker. 
NataliyaMiroshynk charmsaudiences each year with her dancing of the dramatic Spanish variation in ActII of the Great Russian Nutcracker.  She has danced as a soloist with MoscowBallet for over 5 years and is also Audition Director and Teacher. Miroshnyktravels across North America auditioning and rehearsing young dancers toperform with the professionals in ballets including the Great Russian Nutcracker, SwanLake and Romeo and Juliet, andmore. In 2011 she taught the Vaganova method training for advanced andpre-professional American ballet students in Moscow Ballet Summer Intensiveprograms and in 2012 she was one of four Teachers for 3300 Pasco County,Florida students of the “New Horizons – A Children’s Program for Life,” a 6week program. She graduated from the Kiev Academic Choreographic School inUkraine and is expertly trained.  Immediately upon graduation Nataliya wasinvited to join the company of the Odessa State Academic Opera and BalletTheater of the Ukraine and gained a tremendous amount of experience touring theworld.  Nataliya’s repertoire includes classic ballets such as Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere,Don Quixote and, of course, The GreatRussian Nutcracker.  
 
Moscow Ballet’s 20thAnniversary production of the Great Russian Nutcracker overflowswith spectacular new “Dove of Peace” in which 2 dancers become one stunningbird; Christmas Tree that grows to 7 stories tall; award-winning principaldancers and corps of 40; towering silk puppets; 200 all new lavish costumes;and falling snow. Russian cultural elements include a Troika styled sleighescorted by Ded Moroz (Father Christmas) and Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) and 9hand-painted backdrops by Valentin Federov, all set to Tchaikovsky’s complete Nutcracker Suite score.
