  82nd Street Theatre Proudly Presents Its Christmas Production:


The Music Man Jr.!
Show Dates: December 7th, 8th and 14th, 15th, 

This musical follows the story of the charistmatic salesman Harold Hill, who turns the town of River City, Iowa upside down in an attempt to con the city while placing the young boys of the town into a musical band! Harold initially intends to cash up and skip out of town, that is until he finds himself falling in love with the stiff piano playing teacher and librarian of the town Marian!

OPEN CALL Auditions will be held for STUDENTS IN 4th Grade - College and will take place on:


Monday September 17th & Wednesday September 19th from 6-9:00pm.
NOTE: YOU ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONE DATE OF AUDITIONS!
*Please arrive prior to begin at 6:00pm in order to fill out an audition form and start on time!

Audition Requirements: 
1. THIS IS A MUSICAL! Please prepare one BRIEF selection from a Musical Theater Piece ONLY. Any piece! NO Pop or Rock songs!
2. Cold Readings will take place at auditions. No need to prepare any monologues or additional material. 
3. Please come prepared with a conflicts sheet that lists any days you are unable to attend rehearsals. The rehearsal schedule will be based around this! 

***Call backs (if needed) will be on Thursday September 20th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm! 
Note: If you do not receive a callback, it does NOT mean that you are not being considered for casting! ***
