EVENT: Dover Players Presents Hansel and Gretel

 

The Dover Players community theater group is celebrating fall with a play
for families and children of all ages.  Director Jim Volkert has shortened
and adapted the Grimm fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel to play to the young
audience. The show features grade school children in the title roles and
will be presented with the audience seated on three sides in the thrust
stage style. Children are encouraged to sit on the floor up front and
everyone is asked to wear their Halloween costumes.

(Primarily suitable for children ages 4 and older and adults of all ages.)

Performance Dates:  Oct 12-13*, Oct. 19-21, Oct. 26-28 

                                  (*No show on Sunday, Oct. 14) 

Performance Times:  Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 p.m.; Sundays 3:00 p.m. 

(Total performance time is about one hour plus a fifteen minute intermission
when light refreshments will be served.)

North Olmsted Old Town Hall

5186 Dover Center Road

North Olmsted, OH 44070

 

NOTE: The Old Town Hall is located just south of the intersection of Dover
Center Road (runs North and South) and Lorain Avenue (runs East and West) in
North Olmsted. As you travel south on Dover Center Road you will pass the
Police Station on the right. The Old Town Hall is the small building between
the Police Station and City Hall. You may park in the lot to the left of the
Old Town Hall building. 

 

Cost:

Admission is FREE, first come, first serve.  Arrive early for best seats to
view the performance.

per seat.
