[NEohioPAL] Holiday Light up the Sky initiative

Good morning!

 

Thanks to a fantastic partnership with the City of Medina, and their
investment of non-tax payer money, the Medina Historic District will shine
more than ever this holiday season!


On November 16th, in conjunction with the kick-off of the 28th Candlelight
Walk, over 1 mile (30,000+!) of warm white led lights that are currently
being installed on rooftops, around architectural details, on the gazebo and
community holiday tree, and in so many other places in the district, will be
turned on to usher in the holiday season as never before! 

 

The goal is simple: to make Medina a holiday destination for shopping and
tourism, and to support economic development in the City. 

 

But we don't want to stop there. 

 

On Saturday, November 17th, Main Street Medina hopes to follow the amazing
Holiday Parade of Lights with "Holiday Light Up the Sky", a 15 minute
fireworks extravaganza! The show will be lit from the top deck of the
parking garage, and the Square will provide the perfect viewing location for
this awesome opportunity. We are in the final days, even final hours, of
fundraising for this initiative. The permits must be filed and contracts
signed by weeks end at the latest.

 

The Holiday Light Up the Sky investment is valued at $6,500. We currently
have a major lead gift of $2,000 from RPM International, along with several
other gifts from private individuals and local businesses.

 

Could you consider helping financially support this opportunity? Literally,
every dollar will help.

Any business that donates $500 or above may also have a vendor booth on
Broadway St. on Nov 17-18 during Candlelight Walk. Imagine reaching
15-20,000 community members, and being able to say that YOU helped Light Up
the Sky!

Friday, October 19th (5-8:30pm) trick or treat from 5:30-7, costume contest
with prizes, entertainment

Saturday, October 20th, (9am - 4pm) Inflatables, music, magic, balloons,
Jungle Bob, pumpkin patch, more fun!
