Chagrin Arts proudly welcomes back PROJECT Trio

CHAGRIN FALLS, OHIO - PROJECT Trio, a passionate, high energy chamber music
ensemble, will return to Chagrin Falls on Saturday, October 27th for a
7:30pm performance at the Sheep Barn of Squire Valleevue Farm. Chagrin Arts
is excited to welcome back the New York City-based trio of Cleveland
Institute of Music graduates, whose energetic, innovative fusion of
classical, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary music has captivated audiences
world-wide. In an intimate, cabaret setting they will perform an exciting
mix of classical greats, jazz favorites, and unique original works including
Rossini's William Tell, Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, and Jethro Tull's
Bouree. Additionally, a free student workshop for grades 6-12 will be
offered at 3:00pm at the Intermediate School Auditorium the day of the
performance. Tickets are $40 and include beverages (wine - one glass per
ticket, coffee and tea) and appetizers. Tickets may be purchased by phone
at (440)247-9700; in person at the Chagrin Arts Office, 88 N. Main Street,
Chagrin Falls; or online at www.chagrinarts.org.

PROJECT Trio first performed in Chagrin Falls in May 2009, as the featured
performer for Fire Up! - the 2009 annual benefit for Chagrin Arts. The
performance was greeted with a standing ovation and an immediate invitation
to return to Northeast Ohio. Their latest album "When Will Then Be Now"
recently debuted on the top 20 Billboard Classical and Jazz charts,
respectively.

PROJECT Trio was founded six years ago by three graduates of the Cleveland
Institute of Music: flutist Greg Pattillo, cellist Eric Stephenson, and
bassist Peter Seymour. Now living in Brooklyn, New York, the three
composer/performers have gained international recognition for their programs
that "push the boundaries of classical music" while retaining a strong
allegiance to classical training. With extensive performing and teaching
all over the world, including concerts, lectures, master classes, assemblies
and clinics, as well as through television, radio, CDs and the internet,
they are building an awareness of passionate, high energy chamber music and
engaging audiences of all ages in every conceivable way. Additional
information about PROJECT Trio as well as images and videos can be found at
www.whatisproject.org.

The PROJECT Trio performance is the kickoff event to the Chagrin Arts
2012-2013 Performing Arts Series, which also includes the Cleveland Jazz
Orchestra (January 26), Apollo's Fire (March 21) and The Musical Theater
Project (April 28). The PROJECT Trio performance is sponsored by the Ohio
Arts Council, Huntington Bank and the Chagrin Valley Times.
