CLEVELAND PLAY HOUSE
ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS
FOR ADULT SINGERS
FOR A CAROL FOR CLEVELAND

A Carol for Cleveland by Eric Coble based on the novella by Les Roberts is a world premiere holiday show directed by Cleveland Play House (CPH) Associate Artistic Director Laura Kepley. Musical Direction by Nathan Motta.

CPH is looking for four non-AEA performers to be "Supplemental Extras" in A Carol for Cleveland.  The performers will sing and dance and be a part of the ensemble.  They will have no speaking lines.

A Carol for Cleveland will rehearse during the day and evenings on weekdays and on weekends starting November 6th.  Previews begin November 30.  Opening is December 5th. The production runs eight shows a week through December 23rd.

Performers will receive a stipend.

ADULTS AUDITIONING FOR THESE ROLES MUST BE BASED LOCALLY AND HAVE LOCAL HOUSING

WHEN:
AUDITIONS will be held on
Saturday, October 27th
11:30am-3pm (by appointment only)
(Callbacks on Monday, October 29th)

WHERE:
5th floor of the Middough Building
1901 E. 13th St. (between Euclid and Dodge Court)
Signs will direct you to the audition room

PREPARATION:
Please prepare one minute of an English Art song, Classic/ Legit Music Theatre piece, or a
Christmas Carol.
Also be prepared to sing scales, sight sing, or perform other vocal exercises.

PLEASE BRING A PICTURE AND RESUME including both musical and theatrical background, vocal range and voice part.
