                                        AUDITIONS
                                         for “Finale”

     The Victorian Players and J&B Production Arts Services will hold open auditions for “Finale,” an original script by Ira David Wood III.  Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 3 & 4 at the Victorian Players at 702 Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown.  Performances will be February 8 - 24, 2013.  The show originally premiered at the Theatre in the Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

     The show is a dramatic look at the family of John Wilkes Booth, the assassin of President Abraham Lincoln.  The year is 1873 as Edwin Booth returns to the basement of the Booth Theatre in New York and is joined by the deceased members of his family, including John, for the purpose of rectifying family problems which were never resolved during their lifetimes ---- most importantly, why did John kill Lincoln?

     The cast calls for 5 men and 3 women.
     Roles available are:  John Wilkes Booth, Edwin Booth, Junius Booth, Mary Ann Booth, Asia Booth, Garrie Davidson,  Mary Devlin
                    (the role of Abraham Lincoln has been cast)  
            Ages range between mid-twenties to fifties or sixties

The show will be directed by J.E.Ballantyne, Jr. and rehearsals will begin after Christmas.
