FAMILY in the 1905s

OVER THE TAVERN, a comedy-drama by, about a Buffalo, NY family in 1959. Set in a cramped apartment
above Chet's Bar & Grill, owned by the Polish-Catholic Pazinski family, the play centers on the
precocious 12-year-old Rudy, who questions both his family's rules and the strict catechism drilled
by his take-no-guff teacher, Sister Clarissa.
