The drama/comedy True West, explores alternatives that might spring from
the demented terrain of the California landscape. Sons of a
desert-dwelling alcoholic and a suburban wanderer clash over a film
script. Austin, the achiever, is working on a script he has sold to
producer Saul Kimmer. But Austin’s brother, Lee, a demented petty thief,
drops in. Lee pitches his own idea for a movie to Kimmer, who then wants
Austin to junk his and write Lee's trashy Western tale instead. The
sibling rivalry heats up to the boiling point and the resulting standoff
rivals that of the Old West itself.

True West runs at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through December 15 at the
Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113 in the historic Tremont
neighborhood. Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 for seniors and $10
for students. For reservations and info visit
