Beck Center is thrilled to announce auditions for the sensational THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES
by John Guare. Russ Borski (Artistic Director: Cain Park, and CSU Faculty Member)
will lead the mayhem as Guest Director for this production.
 
Audition Dates are:
 
Sunday, Nov. 25th at 6PM
 
and
 
Monday, November 26th at 7PM
 
No appointments for these auditions are necessary. Just arrive as close to the start time as you are able. Auditions
will consist of reading from the script (incl. monologues). Prepared monologues are encouraged, but not
required. Please bring a resume' (and if available, a headshot). Callbacks will be scheduled for the following
weekend.
 
Roles: There are roles for 4 to 5 Men and 6 Women. The age ranges are somewhat open. Actors from 18 to 65 
will be considered for this production. Roles include: Artie Shaughnessy (Songwriter wanna-be), his schizophrenic
wife, Bananas and son Ronnie, as well as his girlfriend Bunny Flingus. Other characters include Producer Billy
Einhorn, Corrinne Stroller, 3 Nuns (Head Nun, 2nd Nun and Little Nun) and 1 to 2 other males for some doubled
roles.
 
Two Equity contracts are available for this production (Tier One, Guest Artist). All actors 18 and over receive a stipend. 
 
Production dates for THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES are March 22nd through April 21st---Fri./Sat. Nights and
Sunday afternoon performances only. Rehearsals will begin in Mid February. This production will be
performed on Beck Center's Mainstage.
 
Please reply to this message if you have any questions. Once again...NO Appointments are required for this
audition. Just arrive as close to the start time as you can. Please reply if are interested but can make neither
of the scheduled audition times. Every effort will be made to accomodate you.
