[NEohioPAL] Shaker Heights Arts Council Seeks Names of Shaker Artists Involved in Performance, Musical, Literary and Visual Arts

Shaker Heights Arts Council announces the development of a directory of 
artists who reside in Shaker Heights. Individuals who work full or 
part-time in the literary, music, visual, and performance arts are 
eligible to email The Shaker Arts Council _artsshaker at aol.com 
<mailto:artsshaker at aol.com>_with their contact information and artistic 
discipline as well as links to their websites and blogs. Leslye Arian, 
president of SHAC, reports that /"the directory will be designed to be a 
useful tool for presenters such as schools, festivals, arts 
organizations, arts centers, colleges and universities, civic 
organizations, performance spaces, galleries, individuals and groups 
that utilize artists." /

In addition, the Arts Council will soon be collecting information and 
opinion from Shaker artists in the directory to learn how the Arts 
Council may better serve artists and develop a strong arts community in 
Shaker Heights. The launch date of the directory is the summer of 2013.
