Wooster, OH-

Despite possible repercussions for their group and other groups associated with the performance, Wooster Student Union (WSU) pushed forward and worked with the administration in a thoughtful and diplomatic way to host an event taking on the 1 trillion dollar student debt crisis and proprietary education.

Students from Wooster Student Union (WSU) are preparing to host Aaron Calafato's FOR PROFIT.

The performance will take place on March 5th 2013 at 7:30pm at the College of Wooster
(Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center)

The event is FREE AND OPEN TO STUDENTS AND PUBLIC.

If you can't attend the event, you can tune in online at 7:30pm on March 5th as the play will be streamed live on YouTube for anyone nationally or overseas to see.

FOR PROFIT is a vibrant solo-portrayal of “the exploitation of the American college student,” and is told through the lens of an unwilling admission adviser at a for-profit institution.

“The play blends theatrical techniques of storytelling and acting, in the tradition of the late monologist Spalding Gray”
-The Chronicle of Education

FOR PROFIT has been featured in:  The Huffington Post;  The Chronicle; Campus Progress;NPR; (NPR) MPBN; NPR (WYSO); WEWS ABC Channel 5; Mobilize.org; Portland Press Herald; The Fiscal Times; and Washington Monthly
