TrueNorth Cultural Arts is seeking actors for our Family Life Series
production of *The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, *directed by Brian
Bowers with musical direction by Mary Beth Lyon. This musical is based on
the popular children's book written by Jeff Brown.


Auditions for actors will take place Thursday February 28th from 7-9 pm at
TrueNorth. Call (440) 949-5200 Ext. 221 to schedule an audition time.
Please prepare two contrasting contemporary musical theatre selections.
Actors will also read from the script.


Stanley Lambchop is an ordinary ten your old boy that live a very ordinary
life. However Stanley wishes to travel the world and do amazing things.
Then one night the bulletin board on the wall above Stanley's bed comes
loose and falls on him. When Stanley wakes up he is flat as a pancake!
Stanley travels the world looking for a solution to his unusual problem,
having adventures in Hollywood, France, Honolulu and beyond. For more

The show consists of a small cast of five actors. Rehearsals will begin the
last week of February--generally three nights during the week and one
afternoon or evening on the weekend, and every night during tech week. The
show runs April 5th-14th, with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings
at 6:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm. All rehearsals
and performances will take place at TrueNorth (4530 Colorado Avenue,
Sheffield Village 44054).
