ORGANIST NEEDED

Pearl Road United Methodist Church is a growing faith community rooted in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood.  We are actively seeking a church organist to assist us in this mission.  

The key points associated with this position are included but not limited to the following:

 

             Use music and worship planner and work with director regarding anthems and offertory music

 

             Work with Pastor and Worship chair in coordinating Sunday hymns 

 

             Rehearse with Chancel choir weekly during the choir season          (Oct. – June) and prior to worship service

 

             Provide organ/ piano music for additional worship services including but not limited to: Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday
