*SOLON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA TO PRESENT
SECOND CONCERT OF THE 2012 - 2013 SEASON*

On Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 3:00 pm, Solon Philharmonic Orchestra will
present its second concert of the season at Solon Center for the Arts.
Under the direction of Associate Conductor Brian Thornton, this performance
will include works by Smetana, de Falla and Shostakovich; in addition,
soloist and concertmaster Julian Machala will aim to initiate a winter thaw
with a riveting rendition of Vivaldi’s classic “Spring” from *The Four
Seasons.* An additional special guest and soloist for this concert will
also be flutist Marisela Sager of the Cleveland Orchestra.


            Concertgoers are invited to attend a “Meet the Artists”
reception following the concert where they will have the opportunity to
meet the talented members of the Solon Philharmonic Orchestra as well as
the soloists.

            Tickets are $12 for Adults, $10 for Students and Seniors and $8
for Solon Seniors. They can be purchased in person at the Center or by
