Olmsted Performing Arts has the following events coming up this spring:
Limited Seating is still available for Olmsted Performing Arts’ production of
Shakespeare’s King Lear on March 14-16th. Shows will be at 7pm each night, with
a Saturday matinee at 2pm. OPA’s adaptation of King Lear is set in 1938 at the
height of the New York mafia’s rule, and is relevant today. Performances will
be in a small, intimate setting at the Olmsted Performing Arts Center, 6941
Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls. Tickets are $15 each, and include a beverage of
choice. Call (440) 235-6722 to reserve tickets.
Olmsted Performing Arts Youth Theater will perform the musical The Little
Mermaid, Jr. onApril 12th-21st, with shows on Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 2pm
and 7pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Performances will be in the 1,200 seat theater at
the Olmsted Performing Arts Center, 6941 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls. Advance
tickets available at www.olmstedperformingarts.com. Tickets are $15 for
Orchestra A, $13 for Orchestra B, and $11 for Reserved Seating. Lap sitting
children ages 3 and under are free.
Olmsted Performing Arts Main Stage will perform Worlds of Fantasy May 3-11, with
shows on Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Join
Jane and Sophie on a magical journey to Fantasyland for Rapunzel’s coronation.
Along the way, there will be singing and dancing with your favorite princesses
such as Cinderella, Jasmine, Tinkerbell, Belle, Ariel, and more! After the
grand celebration, meet the princesses and enjoy photo and autograph
opportunities. Don’t miss out on this enchanting adventure! Tickets are $18
for Orchestra A, $15 for Orchestra B, and $12 for Reserved Seating, and are
available at www.olmstedperformingarts.com.
In addition, join us for the World of Fantasy Boutique¸ which is open before
each Little Mermaid and World of Fantasy performance for children aged 2-12.
Children will be transformed by their own Fairy Godmother into princesses or
knights. For little girls, the experience will include hairstyle shimmering
make-up princess sash, face gem, and nail polish. Boys will enjoy a gel-spiked,
confetti-sprinkled hairstyle and a sword and shield. All children will be
treated to sparking juice and light appetizers. Children must be accompanied by
an adult, who may enjoy complimentary coffee or tea. Advance registration and
separate ticket are required for the World of Fantasy Boutique. $25 for the
first child, and $20 for each additional child. Reservations are required, and
you may reserve a slot beginning at 4:30 on Fridays, 11:30 am and 5 pm on
