[NEohioPAL] Titanic is coming to Great Lakes Science Center - Actors Needed!

Great Lakes Science Center seeks several creative and resourceful actors to interpret a character and interact with visitors during a six-month run of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition opening June 1, 2013. Responsibilities:

 *   Actively portray an assigned historical figure from the Titanic disaster which may include a passenger or crew member.
 *   Add life and personalization to character using provided and suggested historical outlines, source material, and core character guidelines.  When necessary and appropriate, add to core characterization through independent research.
 *   Remain in character while engaging visitors in an entertaining and historically accurate informal environment using lively and serious interpretations of emotions, actions and situations.
 *   Improvise as necessary, adapting characterizations to the situation at hand and relating well and appropriately to visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
 *   Help visitors relate to objects and information within Titanic exhibition.

*         Direct patrons to appropriate Great Lakes Science Center personnel in situations beyond those reasonable for their character to address.
