‘ART FOR AUTISM & OTHER COMPLEX DISABILITIES’ PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL and FUNDRAISER

-An all-day performing arts festival to raise money for a newly-developed special needs program in Mentor-

Saturday, April 20, 2013 – 4D Interactive Education, an independent educational outreach organization from the Northeast, Ohio area will host a day an all-day performing arts festival to benefit the C. A. R. E. Lab of Mentor High School, a newly-developed special needs program. ‘Art for Autism & Other Complex Disabilities’ is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th from 12:00p.m.-8:00 p.m. and will take place at Mentor High School in Mentor (6477 Center Street) in the A-Wing (Southside of building).

The C. A. R. E. Lab (Cardinal Adult Readiness Education) of Mentor High School is a comprehensive transition program for adult-aged high school students with autism and other complex disabilities preparing for independence in everyday life. Help the C. A. R. E. Lab raise money for educational, creative, practical and therapeutic tools for the classroom. The event will include many chances to win cash and other prizes. There will be a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction and prize giveaways. 

Tickets are $5 each (free for children under 2) and include an all-day pass to see the performers and participate in the countless art exhibits and activities. Tickets can be purchased at the door only (doors open at 11:30 a.m.). All proceeds from this event benefit the students in the C.A.R.E. Lab.

Over twenty-five of the area’s finest performing artists will perform live to show their support for the cause. Lineup includes: Headliner, The Performance Ensemble of the School of Dancing Wheels, live musicians, poets, actors, magicians, caricaturists, and so much more!
