Spring has sprung and with it more opportunities for fun at Hessler on the Heights. This weekend, the fourth of the month, is our usual Sunday drum circle, from around 2:30 to 4:00 or whenever we are drummed out. Dave Mahoney will be with us again, and we expect another rousing good circle. We'll be looking for YOU! 
>Also on Sunday we'll be having a mini-show from BJ's Bags, cute totes hand-decorated in bright colors and sparkling designs for spring and summer function and fun.
>May is already shaping up to be a big month for us - here's a glimpse:  
>Friday, May 3: First Friday, 6:00 sign-up; 6:30-8:00 p.m. - open mic hosted by Eve'n'Stephen, who will also perform
>Fri. & Sat., May 3&4: Cleveland State University Student Pottery Show 
>May 4&5: featured artists, jeweler Denise Donaldson; and Special Hands Soaps
>May 9: 5-7 p.m.: HOOP WORKSHOP!!!
>May 12: Drum Circle
>And that's all the things we're going to mention at the moment - there are more to come!
>Speaking of Mother's Day, Hessler on the Heights is here for you, with lots of wonderful gifts for mom. Whether she loves jewelry, pottery, tie-dye, hula hooping, the practical or the fantastical, we have it all, all hand made with love by local artists. Remember, too, our beautiful Mother's Day cards. 
>And speaking of upcoming events in May, it's time for the Hessler Street Fair! It's the weekend of May 18th and May 19th this year, our theme is Alice in Wonderland, and we still need lots of helpers to get the show on the road.  
>If you are artistically inclined, come to the shop this Sunday at noon (since you're already coming for drum circle, right?!) and work on painting the benches for Harmony Park. We'll be doing this every Sunday, at the shop, right up until the Fair.  
>We also need volunteers for set up, for the lemonade stand, and for other elements of this amazing undertaking. If you're interested, reply to this Blast, or come in to the shop any time to sign up.
