[NEohioPAL] Big Swing Dance at the Lakewood Masonic Temple Friday, May 10th

Please come and join us for a fun night of swing dancing to live music at the Lakewood Masonic Temple on Friday, May 10th! This second Friday of the month dance is the longest running swing dance in the Cleveland area. Over 100 people of all ages and abilities attend this swing dance.

The cost of the dance is $12 per person or $10 for students and seniors with a valid ID

Be sure to arrive in time to take part in the easy jitterbug lesson from 8pm to 9pm. This lesson will be conducted by the fabulous and friendly Sarah Siertle. She will also be your DJ for the evening and keep the energy high before the band plays and during the band breaks. 

Immediately after the lesson (at 9 PM) the band will kick off an awesome night of music and swing dancing until 12am.

Blues Deville will be on stage and providing the tunes that will inspire you to keep the dance floor filled with energy all night long.

We feature a variety of local and national swing, jazz, jump blues, big band and early rock and roll dance bands. You are welcome to join us just to enjoy the music. These events are fun even if you don't dance. 

Everyone is welcome to come and have fun with us at the swing dance. There is no need to have previous dance experience or a dance partner.

Most people dress casually. The best shoes to wear are comfortable and not too sticky on the bottom.

The Lakewood Masonic Temple is located at 15300 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107. There is a parking lot in the back and plenty of street parking available too. Please enter the building through the front double doors.
