the opening night of Moss Hart's *Light Up The

In this semi-autobiographical comedy by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author,
Moss Hart (“You Can’t Take It With You,” “Once in a Lifetime”), a young
playwright’s idealism is severely challenged by the temperaments of his
collaborators—the producer, the director, the star, and her mother. This
classic Broadway comedy about the roller-coaster process of mounting a
Broadway show is one of the funniest plays ever written for the American
stage.

The Light Up The Sky ensemble includes Cleveland-area actors *Marc
Moritz**as Sidney Black,
*Katherine DeBoer** as Frances Black, and *Christa Hinckley* as Irene
Livingston. Returning to OSTF are *Karen Nelson Moser** as Stella
Livingston, Oberlin College Associate Professor of Theater and Associate
Program Director *Matthew Wright** as Carleton Fitzgerald, and Assistant
Technical Director of Oberlin College *David Bugher* as Owen Turner. They
are joined by Oberlin College Alumni *Aaron Profumo* (OC ‘12) as Peter
Sloan and *Jes Bedwinek* (OC ‘05) as Miss Lowell. *Members of Actors’
Equity Association

*Light Up the Sky* is recommended for ages 12 and older (no babies or
toddlers will be admitted into the theater).
The play is in rotating repertory with *The Diary of Anne

*and *Twelfth Night* <http://oberlin.edu/ostf/twelfthnight.html>.

OSTF provides Lorain County with free, family-friendly, and professional
theater.
